  • 2025/2026 — In conjunction with RRS’s corporate and tax team, advised GAC Motor Mexico on the negotiation and execution of a joint venture for a strategic alliance in Mexico, as well as on the incorporation of the corporate vehicle and the related capital contribution.

  • 2025 — In conjunction with RRS’s corporate & business team, advised 515 Producciones & Eventos, S.A. de C.V. on the negotiation and execution of a commercial agreement for the engagement of Kanye West (Ye) for his performances in Mexico.

  • 2024 — Jointly with the DLA Piper team (Mexico and Canada), advised Lululemon on the reacquisition of its franchises and retail locations in Mexico, reviewing all real estate lease agreements for the properties where its stores are located, as well as the corresponding permits and authorizations, to assess compliance with applicable Mexican laws and identify the approvals and consents required

  • 2023 — Jointly with the DLA Piper team (Mexico), advised Grupo Bafar, S.A.B. de C.V. on a MXN 9 billion spin-off of one of its principal subsidiaries for the purpose of creating a new multiple-purpose financial company (SOFOM E.N.R.), which will provide relevant financial services as part of Grupo Bafar’s corporate restructuring. The representation also included the incorporation and registration of the new entity before the National Commission for the Protection and Defense of Financial Services Users (CONDUSEF), supporting the strategic expansion of Grupo Bafar’s financial and commercial operations as one of Mexico’s leading food companies

  • 2023 — Jointly with the DLA Piper team (Mexico), advised Unilever NA Sourcing West, S. de R.L. de C.V. (Unilever Mexico), a subsidiary of Unilever PLC, on the acquisition of three properties in Nuevo León totaling 554,005.50 square meters for US$44.8 million, for the development of a new regional manufacturing facility for beauty and personal care products, representing an estimated total investment of approximately US$400 million. The new facility is being designed to achieve “Lighthouse” status, an international recognition awarded to factories that leverage cutting-edge technologies to enhance productivity and efficiency while significantly reducing environmental impact. The project is expected to generate approximately 1,200 direct and indirect jobs.

  • 2022 — Jointly with the DLA Piper team (Mexico), advised Banorte on the negotiation and execution of an alliance with Habi (Latin America’s leading PropTech company in 2022) to develop and offer financial products and services to homeowners through Habi’s technology platform, which operates in Mexico under the name TuHabi.

  • 2022 — Jointly with the DLA Piper team (Mexico, United States, and Germany), advised Vorwerk & Co. Eins GmbH, the German parent company of JAFRA, on the sale of JAFRA’s operations in Mexico and the United States to Betterware for US$255 million

  • 2022 — Advised Servicios Comerciales Amazon México, S. de R.L. de C.V. (Amazon Mexico) on the negotiation, drafting, and execution of a lease agreement for a property located in the State of Morelos, Mexico, to be used for warehousing and commercial distribution operation.

  • 2024 — Advised Four Seasons on the preparation of an Employee Privacy Notice applicable to all employees located in Mexico.

  • 2024 — Advised Samsung SDS America (Samsung) on the preparation of a legal opinion regarding compliance with various personal data protection obligations.

  • 2024 — Advised Beiersdorf (Nivea, Labello, Eucerin, and La Prairie) on the update of its Intragroup Data Transfer Agreement to incorporate provisions applicable under Mexican law governing the transfer of personal data among affiliated entities located in different jurisdictions, including Mexico, the United States, Europe, and Asia.
