• 2006 / 2026 — Appointed by the Government of the State of Nuevo León as an advisor for the development of the trust (fideicomiso) established to support the Research and Technological Innovation Park of Nuevo León (FOPIIT), participating in its design, implementation, and operation. The Research and Technological Innovation Park (PIIT) is a fourth-generation science and technology park based on the Triple Helix model (government, universities, and industry). It houses 38 research centers and 2 high-technology business incubators. As of June 2016, PIIT had accumulated investments of approximately USD 600 million, covered 110 hectares of developed land, and included 35 innovation centers of which he was in charge of the integration of said innovation centers to the PIIT.

• 2010 —  ​Advised a financial institution in the negotiation, structuring, and implementation of a security trust under which approximately 600 real estate properties were contributed to the trust estate, resulting in their successful recovery, foreclosure, and subsequent sale to third parties.​

• 2008 / 2026 — Appointed by the Institute for Innovation and Technology Transfer of Nuevo León as external counsel to develop the Trust for the Nuevo León Innovation Fund (FONLIN).

• Served as Legal Counsel to Banco Regional de Monterrey (Banregio), advising on the implementation of its trust department, preparing its operating manual, and participating in the committee responsible for the acceptance of fiduciary business transactions.

• 2008 — Appointed as external advisor by the Superior Audit Office of the State of Tamaulipas to conduct the legal audit of the Government of Tamaulipas’ trusts, loans, and bond issuances, a project carried out over a two-year period.

• Prepared legal opinions regarding the corporate loan portfolios of Banco Nacional de México, S.A. involving Monterrey’s 25 biggests companies, as required by securities regulatory authorities.

• 2004 — Retained by Banca Serfin to conduct an audit of its trust department in order to identify and assess contingencies arising from existing trust arrangements.

​

• 2001 — Retained by the Mexican Bankers Association to develop a proposal for the resolution of trust-related disputes.

• 2001 — ​Retained by Banca Serfin to manage the redemption of a Eurobond in Argentina involving a company that had entered into insolvency proceedings.

​

• 2000 — Participated in the preparation of International Reciprocity Opinions for banks and Mexican companies involved in insolvency and suspension-of-payments proceedings throughout Latin America, where such opinions were required by local legislation.

• 2000 — Participated in the securitization of loan portfolios carried out by Hipotecaria Comercial América, preparing the issuance trust and negotiating its approval with securities regulatory authorities.

• 1990 / 2000 — Acted as Common Representative (Trustee Representative) in bond issuances and participation certificate offerings for the development and construction of shopping centers and hotels.
